It was 40 years ago today

"It was, by any estimation, a revolutionary moment, one that marked the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another that is still being written today. Just about everything — not only music but popular culture in its entirety — seemed different after the Beatles released their masterpiece on June 1, 1967 (the U.K. release date; U.S. followed one day later)."

1. The Washington Post has a really good article about the Beatles
today. I'm sending it to my bro & sis. I wish I knew how to do threads so I could do it here. If you can check it out, it's really interesting.

2. It was the Summer of Love.
:)

I have a People magazine from mid-June 1987, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Summer of Love. I have it because my daughter was born in mid-June 1987.
