2. That KFC Bowl almost made me gag just looking at it.
I'm not a huge fast food guy, but the Jalapeño Flame burger at Dairy Queen is damn good.

5. ROFL. Have you ever seen the movie 'Falling down'?
The guy in that movie has a tantrum after noticing the food dispensed looks nothing like the shiny happy picture... of course, he also whips out a semi-automatic from the duffel bag he stole and puts new holes in all the furniture, but nobody's perfect...

7. My cousin used to do food photography for ads.
They don't use the real ingredients when taking the photos.

For instance, milk in a bowl of cereal would be thinned-out glue. It's more about making the food look more attractive than it does in reality.

8. I've heard that before...
And I believe it. But, how do they get around the "truth in advertising" crap? :wtf:

:hi:

10. Was she photographing food in ads for items other than food?
Because advertising laws require that the actual food being sold be what is depicted in ads.

They have food stylists to make it look just so, and if it "wilts" before they get usable pics, they have to redo it all.

12. That KFC bowl is disGUSting
Both in the glammed up photo and the other one. Cheese and gravy? On breaded, deep fried chicken? My arteries harden just looking at it.

14. If I recall correctly from the ad (I've never had one):
Breaded, fried chicken strips
mashed potatoes
corn
gravy
shredded cheese
and a biscuit

I may be leaving something out, though.

as the quickest route to a heart attack? :scared:

Ewwww...it makes me sick just reading that. I don't eat KFC, but I doubt they have that up here. :puke:

I just checked the Canadian website - no mention of it, but they're hocking a 0 trans fat menu. :hi:

15. I've eaten very little fast food after seeing "Supersize Me"
scared the crap out of me. The hardest thing for me to give us was McD's Sausage Biscuit. 29 grams of fat, total artery clogger, but yum!
