Is there a weather forum here at DU?

I thought there was one, but maybe it was just a suggestion someone made and the forum was never created. Hmmmm.

It's a good idea, especially with hurricane season underway.

I'm in the middle of Tropical Storm (now depression) Barry. Here in Charleston, SC, we have sustained winds in the 40mph range, with gusts around 60. It's been raining steadily for 11.5 hours now. I'm about 2 miles from the beach and I can only imagine what it's like over there right now.

Anyway, just wondering about the forum and also if anyone else is experiencing TS Barry right now.
