Ever mix Root Beer and Irish Whiskey?

I just did. Since there is no more caffeine-free Coke in the house.

Problem is, I'm afraid to drink it!

Something tells me it's going to taste disgusting.

It tasted awful, but the real problem was that I ended up callin' Ralph on the big white phone all the next day.

12. And how was it? Doing pretty well lately, thanks for asking. Even walked like a

normal person today. Funny how good it feels to be able to do a small thing like that; it's one of those "you don't miss the water until the well runs dry" type of things. Hectic week taking care of Mrs R after her having some (minor, she's fine) surgery on Tuesday. But back to work tomorrow, which will be good.

I'm well...just working a lot, and now looking forward to my nieces graduation in Southern California this month! Nothing marks the passage of time quite like watching a child grow up.

I would have gone for the whiskey on the rocks and not bothered with the root beer. Root beer and whiskey doesn't sound like a good combination.

However, I don't like Irish Whiskey. :) If you do, don't sully it with root beer.

19. I did something similar once

but it was whiskey (I think, maybe it was rum) and it was diet root beer, after I, too, ran out of Coke for my whiskey (or rum) and coke.

It was nasty. (But I survived.) :toast:
