My 22-year-old son is out with Missy tonight. I hope he can handle her, because
as many of you know she can be a real handful when she stretches her legs.

But I trust him to keep out of trouble with her; he's a good kid and should be able to resist her raciness.

1. I expect he'll be fine, my dear Redstone...
After all......

He is your son......

2. Thanks for the vote of confidence; there's also the fact that whenever he asks to use my car,
my answer is "Go ahead. But you understand: one scratch and you die." The car's six years old, so a scratch is not such a big deal, but we gotta keep those kids in line, right?

He's a damn good kid. Never gave us the kind of coronaries that I gave MY parents as a teenager. We've been lucky.

3. You're welcome....
And I think luck had little or nothing to do with how well your son turned out...

He was raised by competent people...

6. Using my own experiences as a teenager as a guide I've decided
that neither of my boys are allowed to drive anything more powerful that a vespa until they are thirty, married, have mortgages and 2 kids of their own.

How they manage to achieve all these things while riding scooters is THEIR problem.
