strange place to hold a caucus
My caucus site tomorrow night is going to be held at someone's house!! I'm not real sure if I like that idea, I would prefer a public building, going to someone's house whom I don't know at all to discuss/vote on politics just seems to put people in a possible uncomfortable and maybe even disadvantageous position. Maybe it's just me.

2. reallly?
I'm sure it's down home to some but maybe it's the "big city boy" in me. The town I live in has a population of roughly 2000, and many have lived here forever and no a lot of people but there are some such as me who just moved here without any connections. It will be interesting tomorrw night

3. Our caucus site is the country club. Very odd places, eh? That's
what makes it so interesting. I am voting by mail though. :hi:

I live in Arkansas, where we have a primary, but I'm getting ready to go to a meeting at a house of a person I've never met. He wants to start a local Democratic group to help get out the vote locally (there isn't a local Dem group in our county, and the one in Boone Co isn't active at all). He's calling the group Defending Democracy, and I'm stoked. Plan to let all know about DU so those online can check in here and see what's happening.

5. Here in Maine...
The caucus must be held in a public location unless there are 100 or fewer registered Democrats.

In all cases, the location must be wheelchair/mobility impaired accessable.

I'd feel funny going to someone's house, too.
