Vehicle size and male anatomy
Men:
Post what type of vehicle you drive and whether or not the compensation stereotype applies.

I'll start:
Vehicle: Gary Fisher Mountain bike
Stereotype: None of your business, you should be ashamed of yourselves for even thinking about it

1. I can't tell you what the stereotype is for a Chevy S-10
but it should be obvious that I'm not overcompensating in that regard. I'm secure about my sexuality. My step-father drives a Ford F-150. That's because he's 6'4" tall and 300 pounds. He doesn't fit into my S-10. Not behind the wheel anyway.

A lot of guys are insecure about a lot of things. I'm insecure about confrontations. I try to get along with everyone. That doesn't mean that I feel like I need to buy a monster truck.

So maybe I'm just confused about myself :-)

but it could be because I switched careers from carpentry to IT

15. Hey, how do you like your Yaris? I just got one 3 weeks ago.
Awsome little car.

I used to drive a jeep wrangler and that probably did kind of reflect my personality.

But my little Yaris does too. It is really fun to drive - and good for the environment and my pocketbook.

17. I love it so far. The MPG is amazing
My truck was terrible with gas. I travel a lot for the job I have now so I'll actually be able to pay for the car with the money I'm saving on gas. It's plenty roomy inside (I'm 6'2" and am very comfortable in it). The back seat fits my son and a couple of his friends fine. It's nice and easy to park too.

12. depends on the mission
I have 3.

2000 Ford F-150 Supercab 4x4. I use this one for load hauling, trailer towing, getting to my favorite fishing spots etc. and commuting on snowy/icy days. Stays parked when not needed these days.

1995 Lincoln Mark VIII. Used for commuting in heavy rain, general purpose use, surprisingly good gas mileage, up to 27mpg highway.

1999 Harley Davidson 883c Sportster Custom. I use this one every chance I get.50+ mpg and it is a blast to ride

What any of these have to do with my anatomy, I don't know

16. I've had vehicles ranging from...
a Triumph Spitfire & Acura Integra up to full size pickups and SUV's. While the vehicle sizes have changed dramatically, I haven't noticed any changes anywhere else.
