Wish me luck: I'm applying to Starbucks
:woohoo:

I should probably limit myself to half a pot before talking to the manager, shouldn't I? Wouldn't want to look like a hummingbird or anything :P

oh and if you want to make some REAL money, get a job at Squatters downtown (brew pub). Mrs Matcom and I both worked there in the 90's and made some SERIOUS $$

good luck! don't try on the funny underwear. it'll change you quick :D

24. I'll keep that in mind
Student loans don't kick in for a few months, so that buys me some time to either find a biotech job or an education job--I've never done restaurant jobs, though. Working in the dinning halls for work study the past 4 years was bad enough :scared:

28. that's what is was back in the 90's
Squatters is an oasis in the Mormon dessert. IF it is still there, it is a brew pub of the finest quality. they make all their own brew on premisis, food is (was) kick-ass, ALL progressives working there.

it is the 'hot spot' (sorry, WAS when we were there) for all the 'cool' celebs in town.

might have changed but if it hasn't......

30. your OTHER best bet is Park City
Get a job up there at LEAST for the winter. 40 minute drive up the canyon. if you can get in at Deer Valley resort you are gold for life. but even a bar job on Main Street will net you some SERIOUS cash during peak season
