1. well some people here like to throw the word sociopath around |
|

they should probably consult a dictionary.
animosity is dislike. i can dislike you and be mean to you, without being a sociopath.
sociopathy is a clinical diagnosis and a hard one at that.
most people cannot recognize sociopaths as they are very charming.

2. why would you dislike me |
|
?
i know i play off some of your posts (copycats) but i always thought you were one of the good ones around here.
(turning over extrasensitive)
i understand, but i wonder if consistent animus vomitted at others in the forms of attacks that go beyond the rhetorical is redolent of some flavor of sociopath.
but what do i know?
i know that i can now do the funky chicken!

:) :P :silly:
constant harrassing of others on a board like DU makes me think that people have a need to show that they are important/strong/tough. Probably because in real life they are neither tough nor strong nor important.

3. I hate it when people ask that! |
|
 Sorry.
My guess is people develope animosity when they feel threatened in some way. I suspect you could take a college psych. course on the subject and still never really understand it. I don't believe it is necessarily a disfunction. Sometimes there are very good reasons for animosity. Sometimes it is unreasonable.

i could dislike someone cos they are lying about me.
sociopathy is a personality disorder with no real logic/rationale.

|
understand WHY you're asking that!
I just don't like you and all your snarky little questions. "Animosity" indeed. Ha. WTF do you think that makes me a sociopath, huh? huh? It's you. It's all your fault, you know.
:hi:
:sarcasm:
Does that help?
