3. yep - same batter as for the chile?
I'm only having ONE zucchini and it is in the shade of the tomato, so I am hoping the crop will uh, one that does not cause the nighbors to pretend they aren't home.

10. Wow...
My stringbean plants haven't even gotten flowers yet. The swiss chard is doing well, though, and the lettuce just sprouted today.

That is a beautiful flower picture with the twilight in the background. It reminds me of a picture book I had when I was little about a boy who grew a giant pumpkin.

My tomato plants have blossoms, and one of them has the beginnings of a few little green ones, but in this part of the world we don't get tomatoes until some time in July.

It's worth the wait, though.
