5. Since the days of my youth, when I was exposed to
Dennis the Menace comic books they have, and ever shall be, "Lightnin' Bugs" (although California Peggy is quite correct, we no got them out here). I did see them Back East, though. Very cool! Must have been a lot of fun during certain party moments in the 60's :evilgrin:

They are rural myths in Montana and Arizona.

13. They are lightning bugs, and you can catch them by the jar full in Missouri,
for about a month. Did you ever pull their tails off and rub them on your arms and face?

15. There is nothing cooler than sitting outside on my
grandparents' (now my father's) farm, and watching them rise out of the cornfields. Quite the show!

And everyone knows they're lightning bugs!
