a marriage between christ and his bride the christian (from some song somewhere) for christians.
do you think there is some sublimated sexual impulse embedded in the understanding of spirituality as a guiding force or meditation upon the unknowable?
do the same drives intertwine to bring one closer to belief as they do toward procreation?
that's as pseudo-profound as i can get.
