Last year I helped a some friends with a book project. The book is on the history of the department I work for. Yesterday I got a box with 5 advanced copies of that book. I flabbergasted to see my name on the cover as a contributor. Jeez Marie all I did was help them with the historical pictures by identifying names, dates and locations. Now I'm getting folks at work asking for me to sign their copies.

Maddy and I went to see Pirates 3 yesterday after school (long but lotsa fun, sit thru the credits). When it was over, we came out to a deluge and on the way home we passed plenty of flooded intersections dotted with dead cars. It was no match for the mighty Avalanche, though. :evilgrin:

I never figured they'd include me in the book. The book isn't a big deal, it's not as if its a great big history book, its just a little 128 page booklet.
