I got my first real six string, bought it at the five-and-dime. I played it until my fingers bled. If I'm not mistaken that was the summer of '69 '89. I formed a musical group with some guys from school and we tried very hard. Then that SOB Jimmy quit and then, believe it or not, Jody got married. I should'a known we'd never get far. However, when I look back now, that summer seemed to last an eternity. And if I had the opportunity, yeah, I'd always want to be there. Those were the best days of my life.
