10. Actually, I think Michelle Rodriguez was there for something like 4 HOURS! |
|
Of course, they used "overcrowding" as an excuse for the virtual non-sentence, but officials were INSISTING they had plenty of room to accomodate P. Hilton for the entire extent of the sentence.
I'm sure no money ever changed hands here...but that would be so hot if it did. :eyes:

Did she irritate the inmates so much that they kicked her out?
Edit: Money obviously means more than DUI. :eyes:

http://www.tmz.com/2007/06/07/paris-hilton-free-woman/I don't know why everyone is so tough on her. Tonight is the Ocean's 13 premier. She HAS to be on the red carpet. Come on, people. Get your priorities straight! :sarcasm:

Maybe next time, if she kills someone, hopefully she'll be in jail for a full week.

The only difference is that I knew if I complained, I would be beaten, possibly to death, by the redneck fascist guards.
If you are rich enough to sue a public agency, you are truly above the law, at least as it's applied to the rest of us.

She's just rich enough to sue the county. The county deserves to be sued for how they treat inmates. The system can only be sustained if no inmate is rich enough to sue the county.

she's probably going through all kinds of withdrawal from the booze, drugs, laxatives. Much easier for everybody if she gets put on electronic surveillance and sent home where she can send out her servants to get her fixes. What a joke.

I am not surprised. At one point I said to myself I was surprised, but the next second I said no I am not. I am actually more surprised that she stayed in prison one day than that she got out after three days. I was one of those people who thought she would never go to jail. The whole time much of this was going on I was saying to my mom watch, I bet she does not even go to jail. I was not surprised when they reduced her 45 days to 23 and I am not shocked that she is not getting out after three days.
I guess my first thought of shock came as a result of her actually going to jail. I guess I thought that if she was actually sent to jail and had to report they would keep her for the 23 days. I do not think they would keep her for three days and then let her go. So I am not actually shocked or surprised at this. I guess it was just a little bit of why send her to jail at all if you are going to let her go after three days. Does anyone know the cost to taxpayers for those three days? I know someone else most likely would have just taken her place, but it still seems like a waste of money to me.

I was never one of the Paris bashers, but if they think this is going to erase any criticism that our justice system is biased towards the rich then I want a hit of what they're smoking. What a farce this whole thing has been.

I had a friend that was jailed for driving on a suspended license and he couldn't even get out on work release. He ended up losing his house over the course of the 60 days he was in jail. He ended up living in his car when he was finally released.
He didn't have money though, so who cares.
