Finished 1st week on Weight Watchers. Lost 5 pounds!
I know it won't keep that pace. Wouldn't want to, isn't healthy long-term.
But it sure is a motivational kick-start!

So far I am very impressed with the Weight Watchers program. The meetings are fun and inspirational, and the program is very easy to follow.

The downside is that it is pretty pricey. And they have a lot of "add-ons" that I'm probably going to end up buying at some point.

But anyway, 5 pounds gone, 35 to go!!

:woohoo:

3. Great job!
I have used WW in the past and lost over 50lbs. You average about 2 a week.

Keep up the great work!

5. Congrats
I have achieved what you are going for-45 lbs.

You have no idea how great it is not to just accomplish it but how you will feel. I am wearing a "yeah maybe some day" shirt that I saved and saved and saved.

Good for you.

9. I've lost 35 lbs on Weight Watchers - since January
I have a weigh-in today and I'm hoping to hit my goal which is 36 total!

Congrats to you on your first week and first 5 lbs lost! :woohoo:

WW is THE BEST program IMHO. One thing I suggest is getting exercise. I walk- 3-4 times a week about 3 miles - and it has helped me lose consistently.

10. Congrats to you!!
I definitely plan to start exercising again. My group leader said to wait two weeks, though, until I'm settled into the eating habits. I don't know if that is really necessary or not, but maybe he says that so that people don't feel overwhelmed off the bat.

12. Well, I hit my goal- and then some
I was very good this week!

I can see waiting, especially if you are now eating a lot less than you were. You don't want to stress out too much and get too hungry and weak. But once you start, it will really help.

11. Awesome!
I had really good luck with it after I had my kids. I've been thinking about reupping because my weight has drifted up 15 lb :( and I need the accountability of the weigh in.

Good job with your loss. I hope you have continued success.

13. Oh my, yeah, congrats.....
I gained 30 lbs when I quit smoking ....and just not motivated enough to really try and lose it.....it's been two years you'd think hauling around this extra weight would be motivation enough, but it isn't. Again good for you and hope you reach your goal.
