Okay... I've been holding back, but I'm now going to say it. I feel AWFUL.

I've actually been feeling awful for the last month. I feel unloved, undeserving, and inadequate. My husband left me alone for my entire birthday last Saturday (minus a two-hour dinner with friends he already had planned). No flowers and no card, either. Then he had me choose a wood file cabinet from a website (my b-day gift) but left me to order it myself. It took two conversations and many tears for him to finally realize what a shit he was.

My father also forgot to call me, which had me worried for a moment. He remembers EVERY year, so I had to track him down via a sister. Luckily he is okay, just busy.

Also my writing partner is being the ROYAL pain in the ass that he typically is. I know him well enough to know he's not giving me the brush-off, but tracking down His Heiness just to schedule a meeting is a feat by itself.

Anyway, so I feel terrible. And that is all.
