My Mom is from NC and when my grandmother was alive we went down every summer for a few weeks. Road in the back of pick ups, ate barbeque, picniced at Wheeler Lake, helped my cousins barn tobacco.
And I always remember going to the museum in ralley they had stuffed allegators on the floor.
