is that in this country we have a longstanding tradition of shielding the scions of wealth from such common punishments as jail time.
who among us thinks it either just or fair to place a child of wealth and standing in an environment with the rabble?
there really IS something wrong with america when this happens.
used to be, they would send the kid off to tour the continent for 6 months, bribe the newspapers and make contributions to the magistrate when things like this happened.
do we really want to live in a world where the best among us are treated just like the unwashed vulgar?
