(to the tune of "Hotel California") and having change tossed our way. Buying booze at 16, legally. The food...the tiny, tiny, tiny room at the aforementioned hotel. The food...the public transportation...the girls.

9. Several French folks have mistakenly thought my sweetie was from Paris.

Back when she lived in France, her French was good enough
that many people didn't know she was from the States.

Several people mistakenly assumed she was a Parisian, because
her French somehow has a "Paris" accent.

That's the only interesting trivia I know that involves Paris.

IT really is a beautiful language.
They could say ..vous mangez le chien épuisez..(you eat dog poop) and it would sound like the greatest of compliments :)
