have you seen mr brooks?
kevin costner and william hurt

demi moore and dane cook

so many in-depth characters

and they just touched surface...

slick and sophisticated yet ultimately flawed

what did you think?

4. Spose I should wander into town in a couple of hours
see if I can get a new parking permit, pay in a cheque and get a couple of things. It's warm today, so I have thrown all the windows open. Yay!

You?

6. Yeah, once a year
and with that in my windshield the traffic wardens will leave me alone. It's dead cheap too (a lot more for a second car though). :D

8. Mr Ld and I saw it last weekend...
and really enjoyed it. There were a couple of little plot twists that we thought implausible, but throwing reason to the wind, overall it was entertaining.

11. really?
cos her bmw was missing or what makes you think she did it? do you think it was intentional to leave room for a sequel?

19. I think she 'lost' her bmw on purpose
'cuz it probably had evidence in it. And I think her dad knew she did it, which is why he went up there, and committed a copycat crime to cover for her. I don't think there's gonna be a sequel, just because I'm not so sure how well-received this movie was.

20. well, i know he 'thought' she was guilty but,
to me it was as if his own guilty conscious was really beginning to push him even further into his own madness.

very open-ended.

whether it was on purpose or just poorly executed is where i can not make up my mind.

character development was sadly lacking.
