Too true.

There is some late-80s rap that's decent and creative; but today it seems all of it is about some guy talking about how great he is into a microphone and/or spewing forth hate messages; the music underneath it utterly lacking as well.

Having noted music in general over the course of the last 40 years; if those two eminem songs are going to be seen as 'tame', what sadistic trash is yet to be made? And can't the record labels be bothered to set some standards? Or would that impact their bottom lines too much?
