Poll question: What Kind Of Car Do You Drive
I realize a lot of Nissans, Toyotas, and Hondas are made in America but for the sake of this discussion please include them as foreign...

4. My household has one car that stays parked most days
It's a VW
I use a Gary Fisher mountainbike to get to work

That does bring up the point that a lot of people own or co-own multiple vechicles so a lot of folks might go both ways

you'd be surprised how much money you can make with a pick-up truck, cordless drill, and some paint supplies.

even more if you have a chain saw, sabre saw, 20oz hammer, skill saw, and a couple of extension cords....

So many Toyotas and Hondas are assembled in the US, while some "domestic" cars are assembled ourside the Us.

Unfortunately, American auto makers haven't been able to compete in the economy car market. U.S. Automakers make great trucks and great luxury cars. But if you're looking for an economy car that's going to last 200K miles... the best bet is a foreign car.

sometimes what car to buy is strongly influenced by money.
Car was totaled out. not our fault. Insurance settlement was less than we had hoped.
With very limited funds, the Kia was the only really viable choice I had. I did not choose the kia, in a way, the insurance company did.
