13 pairs of shoes and slippers

This is not cool...

I just checked out my closet...between dress shoes, work shoes/boots/tennies and slippers there are thirteen pairs...

As a guy I'm disturbed...

I've given every woman in my life hell over shoes...now it appears I'm sliding down that same path...next thing you know I'll have colour coordinated belts...

Any thoughts?

sometimes if i go clothes shopping which i hate to do i start with shoes and build an outfit around them.

20. if you're anything like my husband it's "what i'm wearing" "My clothes"

but i notice sometimes he will always wear a certain shirt with a certain pair of pants--yeah, thats in outfit. I don't think your shoe collection is excessive, shoes need to dry out so you need to switch them every day if possible, they last longer that way. i've got some shoes that are 20 years old, classic heels that i took care of and they stay in a shoebox until i wear them.

I don't think i have ever owned that many pairs in my life LOL. But I do indeed like my shoes...I don't have that many, but I am picky about the ones I buy. Half my problem is that I do a lot of home improvemnt and I seem to be too lazy to change into old shoes when i am painting or staining, etc., so i end up ruining mine in short order.
