TOP TEN Most Dangerous Toys of All Time
A few of my favorites from the list

2. Gilbert U-238 Atomic Energy Lab: Honey, why is your face glowing?

4. Snacktime Cabbage Patch Dolls: It chewed for chewing's sake. With no mechanism to turn off the munching should trouble arise . . . 35 fingers and ponytails fell victim.

5. Sky Dancers: . . . Over 150 children fell prey to Sky Dancer's helicopter-blade arms and erratic "Oh-Jesus-it's-chasing-me!" flying patterns.

8. Johnny Reb Cannon: What better way to permanently maim your little brother while spreading valuable lessons about states' rights?

5. Yes! I can still feel the clacker connecting with the bone in my forearm
Hate to think what kids would do with them if they had them nowadays!

3. My dad started me welding at 8... My eyes are all fucked up, but I lived.
I still suck at it. Now I know not to look at someone when they are welding.. Hurts like crazy. I had a strange childhood.. I played with CNC lathes and Plasma torches, and drafting tables. Not the normal toys kids played with. My dad owned a welding and machine shop and would I make little marine leg bucket elevators out of scrap after school.

4. Lawn darts were the best!
You just had to stand right behind your opponent to avoid impalement.

Although, if I had siblings, I could see chucking one out of relentless annoyance like the "I'm not touching you" game.

6. I remember lawn darts
My grandmother saved a lot of the books and toys my mother and her siblings had while growing up. Lawn Darts was one of them. Did not think they were dangerous, but we had the sense to stay out of the way of an airborne dart!

12. No Nimbus 2000 Brooms?

This toy taught children everywhere of the vibrating pleasures of a Harry Potter magic broom. They were all confiscated by Moms.

16. I used to work for a company that sold vintage toys on ebay.
I listed a few of those items for sale, like the Johnny Reb cannon and the Creepy Crawly bug molds. I never did see one of the Atomic Energy Labs, but I wager they are worth a fortune.

We got it for three books of greenstamps, I had it taken away within a week because I was shooting my brothers and sisters.
