5. 60's folk

Rock/Folk sounds like Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell. Plus hard blues rock like The Rolling Stones. The country folksy rock sound helped cross over country, blue rock and rockabilly leading the way for The Allman Bro, The Eagles and the pinnacle Lynyrd Skynyrd. The interesting thing is most of the country/folk singers didn't come from the south.

Allman brothers was the last concert I went to. I went all the way up to NJ (from NC) a few years ago to do it. A buddy goes every year and blows out the tailgating etc. A day long extravaganza! Good times.
