Since I don't live anywhere near Broadway, I look to the Tony's to become familiar with new shows. I'm very curious about Curtains and Mary Poppins. Though I'm more a Spamalot or Avenue Q-type.

and a grandma! Haven't seen Spamalot or AveQ yet, but they're on my list, as well as the LesMiz redux...which I always contribute to the "..if DU were a Broadway show.." threads, ergo, "can you hear the people sing"...

I still can't believe that a rock musical based on a play by Frank Wedekind is a hit on Broadway. I should have gone to see it before the nominations were announced...
