Three years ago today.... |
|
I started my long climb out of a coma...
I woke up in the hospital ICU with a Trach, a feeding tube in my stomach, attached to all sorts of monitors and all the other things that get attached to you when you are in a coma for a few weeks...
Let's just say I was a little groggy and that the drugs they were pumping into me, Morphine and Adavant, were responsible for more hallucinations than at a Timothy Leary tune in drop out party...

1. Wow. Why were you in a coma? |
|
Do you remember any dreams that you had while you were out?

4. I thought, for a while there, that they were pumping that Korean |

Cabbage stuff, the stuff they bury for a month and then eat, into my stomach...
I remember telling one of the nurses that was nasty to me, or rather croaking at her, that Dennis Kucinich was a Friend of mine and she had better watch her step...

Ah......how your life has changed since then....
I remember taking care of folks who had been in a coma like yours......
It was always a crapshoot as to whether they would live or die.....
The razor's edge...
Welcome home, Chris.........
