Lookee what we found hanging out on our roof Saturday...***Dialup Warning***

BabyG spotted him as we were coming in from our mini golf "date".



He looked not as creepy and rather cute IRL and we couldn't for the life of us figure out why he didn't fly away. MrG came home and went out to have a look. The little guy was still sitting there so he grabbed some bread and a ladder. Mr (we think) Homing Pigeon even let him stroke his feathers. He had a band on his foot which leads us to believe he was a homing pigeon. He stayed all night and took off around 7 AM.

5. A homing pigeon spent three days in my horse's barn before flying on home (I presume).

It was way up in the rafters and I couldn't touch it but I could see a band on its leg. It scared us at first because of the loud flapping and commotion that it made before settling in to roost for the night.

7. They're amazing creatures...

This was rather eerie to see. It was so white against the dark sky. He was a lot cuter than the picture shows though. The picture is almost ghoulish IMO.

8. She's a model, for sure.

Got a camera, she's right there. Unless we really want to take a nice picture for her breeder. It's almost like she knows and then the ears go down and she slouches over. She's a ham and a half. Thanks!
