I love Vancouver
I was just in the elevator with a 80-year-old woman who said it's a "Drag" the "fucking" washers need so many quarters to do a load.

1. My dear HEyHEY!
I'll bet that women who talk like that aren't limited to Vancouver!

I love that city too......it is really one of the most beautiful I've ever seen....

:hi:

2. Even without that lady, Vancouver ROCKS.
Had a blast when I was there and would move there in a heartbeat.

3. Someday I'll have to visit your fine city.
There really is more to Canada than Ontario.

7. Vancouver is great. Capilano park, a quick ferry to the island and
Victoria. I don't know which city I like more, Vancouver or Victoria. Have you ever seen Fable Cottage? awesome baby...Yep, I love the brightly colored homes, the hedgerows, instead of chain link fencing, the clean streets, fresh flowers in baskets hanging from street signs...What's not to love?

8. Little old ladies in Vancouver rawk!
When I lived in West Van, the older ladies referred to us as 'the gypsy girls on the 14th floor". Darling Daughter was in jr. high - and never lacked for invitations to 'take tea' with the ladies who seemed to embrace what to them was an oddish lifestyle. (I was working on 'McCabe & Mrs. Miller' then.)
Absolutely loved living there - shoulda stayed!

9. Older women in general tend to rock.
Of course there are exceptions, but we can learn a lot from people who have lived that many years.
