HELP!... I am trying to cast a play, and I am in a bit of a crisis... |
|
Today, two friends of mine and I held auditions for four short one-act plays- I am directing two of them. All of our plays combined, there are a total of about 15+ roles available. Today, only 6 people showed up! Tomorrow night, at 7, is our second and last audition- after that, we need to get the ball rolling.
What do I do? Is there anything I can do in the next 19 hours to get more people to show up? Any creative ideas?
Peace,

2. postpone the last audition until you get more people? |

post ads in the papers, put up flyers, craigslist was a good idea, too. Good luck

3. Cast people in multiple roles |
|
If they're four different plays, it will make perfect sense to the audience that the same people appear in different roles in each play.
