The podiatrist said I have to have surgery on my pinky toe sometime this month. Then I won't be able to go back to work for another month.

Please pray that for Dr. K, he is good man and has done this operation a lot. Please pray that I can keep my job (I don't think they can LEGALLY fire me, but they might try to).

Family and Medical Leave Act applies to YOU, the worker, not just any children you may or may not have. File your paperwork as soon as you have a surgery date and an expected return to work date. You'll need your doctor's signature on the paperwork.

Don't need prayers when you have Federal laws on your side! Good luck!

But, my employer has been very patient with me so far. She just has to work out the logistics. I'm over anxious about the job.

Thank God that the Federal laws are on my side. However, I DO need prayers.
