"I stay away from any MLK Blvd because they're always in bad neighborhoods"
Ok, I'm quoting that because I did not say it - it came from a family member who I hadn't talked to in a long time. I probably didn't even quote it exactly, but in a nutshell he was telling me about how he was lost somewhere in California and ended up on an MLK Blvd and was paranoid about pulling over to get gas because of what bad neighborhoods where you'll find MLK Blvd.

Personally, I was offended about that generalization. First, because I live right off the MLK exit in Delaware and MLK isn't that bad of an area where I live (mainly a few business & CC corporations and the road feeds into 95).

But what really stunned me was the generalization. And this person knows not only am I a bleeding heart liberal but I'm not one to let a comment like that go away unchallenged.

:grr:

"Hey I need some directions"
"Well where are you?"

6. Every MLK Blvd I've ever been on has been like the ones Chris Rock talked about.
