I know midwest winters are hellacious... but I swear, I'd rather deal with the cold half the year than the excessive heat. That heat and humidity is far more unbearable to me personally. I have an aunt in Texas - every time I call her she screams "I'm in HELL" (in a strong Texas drawl).
