4. Boris- Pink.

Boris are a trio from Japan that play heavy, droning stoner rock, but add the occasional uptempo punk number and even have some ambient and psychedelic elements to their stuff.

Easily in my top 5.The new one with Michio Kurihara is awesome too, though not nearly as uptempo as Pink is.

Maybe it's my past lives talking to me. After I saw "John Lennon's Juke Box" I started hunting these 45s and found most of them. I'm happy. I'm sure you can download them much easier than having to find the records.

7. Based on your playlist, try..
Nerina Pallot. She has influences ranging from Carole King to Tori Amos. I highly recommend her CD Fires, and there's my favorite anti war song: "Everybody's Gone To War."

18. Thanks....
I alays wondered why hugo largo didn't have the cult following that the Cocteau Twins had - I, for one, thought they were leaps and bounds ahead of the CTs. Maybe it was the way 4AD marketed their product to college girls.

17. Well, personally,
I would recommend that you start listening to some different music! :silly:

But, if you insist on sticking with this kind of music...
Have you tried Pandora? Maybe they could come up with some more music that you'd like.

Mike Oldfield
Radiohead
Peter Gabriel

And here's a band that I discovered a couple of years ago that I really like--and they have a lot of their songs available on their website for free: Autumn!
