In 1977 NASA shot the following photograph into outer space

Their hope was that millions of years in the future, aliens would find this photo (along with other information about life on earth) and conclude that we were once a likeable people.



Frankly, I think this image would frighten alien civilizations who find this and perhaps inspire them to wipe us out.

"Why is that earthling drinking bong water? Why is Archie Bunker eating a grilled cheese sandwich?"

out of a proper sense of social decorum, I will not speculate on what the aliens may conclude about that chick with the ice cream.
