20. I loved how judges on the grudge match were astonished that he had groupies.

I don't remember if it was Gail or Padme who expressed amazement that some of the chefs at their table were big Marcel fans.

Since I ditched my Mystics game tonight, 0-8, too much to bear.

They just could not get a shot off against the Liberty. I'd like to see the Liberty knock off the Shock or the Sun this year for the WNBA Championship.

But, I'm going to miss Diana Taurasi play. It's raining hard as hell here, should have left for the Metro an hour ago to get to the Verizon Center at 7.

marcel was bad enough all along, but ilan turned out to be quite a punk in the last several episodes. I don't think either could hold a candle to harold's class and mastery or to tiffany's range and creativity :)

Season 2 was a disappointment, comparatively. I think the grudge match showed who had the talent between those 2 groups, most def.

28. Another thing about Season 1 that people seem to forget -

I think Leeanne Wong was just as capable as Harold or Tiffani of winning the whole thing...it was just kind of a fluke that resulted in her elminination. I almost think that Bravo's offer of a "staff position" on the show was like a bone they felt they needed to throw her, almost like there were some feelings of guilt on the part of the judges. Not that she needed to be pitied in any way, mind you, but I think she probably could have wiped the floor with nearly everyone from S2!

& jumps up & down on it. I noticed last year that if she didn't like a contestant for some reason, she didn't like what they cooked & would always make little faces. She did NOT like Elia & I remember she made a positive comment about something Elia made & then when she found out later that Elia had made it, made some snotty little comment. Just watch: she'll do it this season too.

40. I have to confess - I can't stand Ilan but Marcel has grown on me

I like his style of cooking - so scientific. I hope we see the same from Hung. The one I can't stand is Stephen from season #1; in fact I liked season #2 more than season #1 (well, couldn't stand Betty)

Sam is a hottie, but towards the end he got annoying. At the All-Star challenge Ilan proved why he shouldn't have been named top chef but I was disappointed that Marcel didn't plan the meals as a unit like season #1 team did. I think that was their downfall. I figured Ilan would choke but thought that Sam & Marcel could compete with Tiff & Stephen. Personally I think Elia should have won season #2. The fact that she was the only one who won on her team for All-star proves she's the best. She's can be a 1-trick pony like Ilan but she is definately better at adapting to her environment. I was really suprised that Ilan didn't make Duck Paella. Paella to Ilan was like Foam to Marcel.

Season #2 looks good. I'm liking that gal from Jamaica and I think Tre has the skillz too. I was kinda hoping that redneck who was sent packing would be around a few more episodes - he looked to be another Michael from season #2 (someone who really shouldn't be on the show, scraped by most weeks without getting eliminated but capable of creating amazing stuff when totally messed up on Vicadon)
