Question RE: Downloading Podcasts on a Ipod |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-13-07 06:16 PM by romantico
I am computerless for about another 6 weeks and have a question. I am using the library computer but am going to be house sitting for 10 days coming up. I would like to download some podcasts onto my Nano and am curious about using the computer at my friends house who I'm going to be house sitting for. My question is, do I have to download softwear onto their computer if I am downloadinga podcast? If I was downloading music from Itunes or some of my cd's I can see where I would, but somehting like this I am not sure. I don't want to intrude or scerw up their computer or anything but I also doubt I can do this at my library. If I can't I am not going to chance messing with someone else's computer. I just am not sure if this is a simple thing or not. I could wait til I get my new computer but I like to listen to various podcasts when I go out for my walks and hate to wait so long. If anyone has any info regarding this, I'd appreciate it!

1. I just download them from iTunes. |

Just go into the iTunes store and scroll down--the daily top podcasts link is down and on the right.
There are lots of free podcasts there. I download "This American Life" and "Selected Shorts" whenever I can.

3. I don't know if it'll be that easy. |
|
It'll erase whatever you have on your iPod, I think.
If you're like me and you don't store stuff on the iPod, I think it'll work.

if you have stuff on your ipod and you use your friend's itunes then it will wipe out your ipod library.

5. Well, I have very little on my Ipod |
|
so I don't care if it erases it. Once I get my new Mac I will create a new music library so I don;t care if I loose whats on there. As a matter of fact, I could probably use the extra memory/space.Thanks again for the help!!!
