An observation and a lesson learned.. |
|
don't ever complain at work about someone not doing their job. Because while they may not be doing all of their job and you may be picking up the slack. Apparently when enough complaints are registered they move said person along and just give you those responsibilities along with the rest of what you already have. :eyes:
So now, I get to do my job, my other jobs, my committees, and this new job all together :grr:
Maybe time to tune up the resume eh?

1. Maybe it is, my dear Southpawkicker... |
|
Maybe it is...
I'm sorry, sweetie...
Sounds like your bosses aren't too smart, methinks...
They took the easy way out by saddling you with more work instead of less...

yeah, i've had that saddle on before i think :D
I also am learning that I don't have to accept unacceptable situations. So we shall see what happens. It is also possible that this will result in someone else being hired eventually which would be good, it is just the result of a tight fisted corporate mentality taking over a hospital.

3. At work I have learned to just mind my own business. |
|
I work with a lot of bitches and none of them are females. Its always the men in my department who are always complaining about what someone is or is not doing. They have mood swings more than us women do ! I told one guy last night that he should stop by the drug store and pick of some Midol. Not all of them are like this only 2 of the guys don't have mood swings , the rest we rejoice when they don't come to work.

and you obviously have an excellent work-ethic. Is there a way to approach your bosses about more money in a way that wouldn't be more trouble than it's worth? If not, those qualities of commitment and work ethic are highly sought by good employers; at least, in my occupation it was. I don't know what your work is.
edit: because my punctuation sucks...

Its a stretch most days just trying to figure out in what situation I should show them I'm smart and know what I'm talking about or when to turtle and play stupid.
