The Northeast winds circulating around an ocean storm will make today the coolest day of the week.
There may be a few sunny breaks, but it's just as likely you'll see some scattered drizzle, especially
near the coast this afternoon. Temperatures are about 15-degrees below normal for this time of year.

The storm is several hundred miles off the coast and will ever so slowly weaken with time. So our
forecast is for gradual brightening and a slow warming trend as we head toward the end of the week.

As far as the weekend is concerned, Saturday should feature some sunshine, but also a chance of an
afternoon thunderstorm in spots.

Sunday should feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds, but also with a chance of a thunderstorm
as a cool front approaches. High temperatures both weekend days look to be 75-80.
