Have you ever had a lucid dream?
"Lucid dreaming is a state in which the sleeper becomes alert and conscious that he or she is dreaming. The imagery in this state is reported to be more vivid than in non-lucid states, and it is difficult to distinguish between the dream and reality. The dreamer is able to control what is dreamed."

1. I have...
I read about them a few years back - I never trained to do it, it just started happening. It is very cool. The downside, is that you have a bit of trouble distinguishing memories - whether you're remembering reality or remembering a lucid dream.

7. Very often
It seems like I am almost always aware that I'm dreaming. Sometimes I'm able to do a little bit of directing, except for the sex dreams for some reason.

The nightmares where I forget to attend a class for an entire semester just go on and on and on. The one where I'm in bed with Jessica Alba, I always wake up and immediately try to fall asleep again. But it never works.

2. I meet the man who loved me whenever I need him
We cuddle, converse and generally did what we did when he was alive. Always serene, never passionate ... it's comforting and always insightful.

When I was younger, I could induce the state with a brief fast; now, all I need is an extra few hours sleep.

4. Once...
But I prefer the unpredictability of normal dreams, because my normal dreams are always weird as hell.

5. Frequently. Which probably accounts for my poor state of rest.
Although lucid dreams are so, so cool.

6. I have three times exactly
all three times I made myself fly. One of the times it was snowing really bad and I waved my hand and said "clear skies" and the skies cleared up so I could take my flight. Pretty cool!

8. Nearly every night

I'm a "light" sleeper. I often go back to the same dream that I was having before I awoke.
