Packing for Take Back America - How to dress for Gala Dinner?

I am literally counting down the minutes till Take Back America, I'm so excited...this is the first one I'm going to be able to attemd since 2003 (which was amazing in itself)...I know that I got away with wearing "normal clothes" for the day stuff...but what am I supposed to wear for the Gala Dinner...I'm guessing shorts and a t-shirt wont do...is it semi-formal, or just skirt and top??

Any help would be appreciated...

How many of you are going...from CLinton, Obama, Michael Moore, Pelosi, Thom Hartmann, etc.etc.etc. I can't wait!!!

2. I went in 2004.

The dinner was fairly dressy. A nice skirt and top will work, I think, but if you have anything dressier go for it.

I have just now decided to go, and have booked hotel and flights. I do hope there are still tickets available for the dinner when I get there.
