1. My cancelled flight issues with my first visit to see Madrone...

...were when I used a travel agent to book the flights. When I book flights myself, I have no issues, except weather delays.

Now my kidney stone issues can't be blamed on a travel agent...yet.

2. Travel agents are way worse than lawyers

I dealt with lawyers every day when I was with your employer, and they aren't nearly the sleazy and dishonest fuckbags that travel agents are. Nor nearly as abysmally stupid. Their stupidity has density. It has gravitational pull.

3. Well...I have the good and bad with lawyers...

The ones we hire are great; the ones on the other side, not so much. :D

2007 is going quite well, thanks. Madrone just left here yesterday morning. I can't wait to see her again over July 4! Since the World Series win by the Cards, life has gone well for me. Coincidence? I think not. :D

So, I take it that you had a bad experience with a travel agent? ;)

4. Every fucking day

I am now eligible for a transfer, and have applied for other jobs within the company... we don't have to wait 18 months like you-know-who. :P

They make me want to pound them with a claw hammer.

Except for the glitch with the Denver airport and United (obviously not her fault), the trip was absolutely perfect!

10. Maybe 1% are okay

Most are entitled Republican snobs who think that because some of their clients are rich, that it rubs off on them and they are too.

Commission-grubbing slimeholes and sleazy misfits for the most part.

I have to resist telling them that they are lucky the internet has not put all of them out of business.

Most of them have the ethics of a rabid weasel, and the manners to match. They are scum, and need to be brought to extinction soon.

12. I don't have a TA

I do my own dirty work. :-)

But my job requires regular interaction with them - for now. I will be free of their evil grip soon. :P
