Lil' Bush on Comedy Central

Did anyone catch the new show Lil' Bush on Comedy Central tonight?

I saw a few commercials some time back and it looked awful. I was worried it would be some cheesy pro-Bush show that took a few jabs at him but was ultimately just a disguised way of boosting him up.

Not true. The show bashes Bush and company hard time. It's also pretty funny. I had a few good chuckles even if the premise is of course very "been there done that." I would definitely suggest a viewing if you want to see Bush and his gang lampooned. Much better than some libertatrian BS like South Park or the infamous "That's My Bush" mess.

1. It was ok.

I wanted to like it more since it bashed Bush, but I thought it was too juvenile at times (duh, I guess, since it's about Lil politicians).

I was coming into this show really thinking it was going to be terrible and not bash bush so I guess I was in for a pleasant surprise. But it is not the smartest political satire or even smart political satire.

I just hate how sometimes the left is called childish in their attacks on Bush and I fear this just enforces that belief.

I really thought this shower was clinically unfunny. I'm up for a good Bush bash, but it just didn't do it for me.

I'll stick to my South Park, TDS, and Colbert for decent intelligent commentary.

12. I think it showed

how hard it is to make Bush jokes funny. Yes, TDS and Colbert manage to do it night after night, but for the most part, BushCo isn't funny...at least, that's how I felt.

The show absolutely smacked them at every turn, but it just wasn't funny because they really do that shit. That said, I'm always up for anything that smacks Bush, so I'll probably keep watching.
