What was your favorite Midnight Movie and how many times do you see it? |
|
There were 2 groups in our high school - the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" people and the "Pink Floyd's The Wall" people. I was definately a Wall person being that Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands. To this day I have not seen Rocky Horror but I've probably seen The Wall a couple dozen times
Ironically "The Song Remains the Same" was hardly played. I have seen it at the midnight movies though

2. Never saw The Wall stoned but did it drunk a few times |
|
I would sing the entire time.
Never smoked pot (not that I have an issue with pot smokers)

3. I saw The Wall many times as well, |
|
but it never played in the crappy town I lived in. I had to ride my motorcycle 200+ miles round trip to see it, maybe five times. Nice to meet another Floyd fan! I've got all their stuff, though much of it is on vinyl and I don't have a turntable anymore.

12. dig it. I never can devide what the best album is. I love them all |
|
for slightly different reasons. I haven't listened to all of Ummagumma in a long time. Right now I'm kindof on an early Floyd kick.

10. Our local theater has a midnight movie, and one evening I saw "The Big Lebowski..." |
|
there was a college kid there who was so drunk that when the movie ended he was passed out in his seat. I think his friends just left him there. :P

midnight movie circuit, here in K.C. I cannot recall how many times I went with buddies to see those, plus Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.":hippie:

I think was the name of it. Saw it many many times. I vaguely remember a Blue Oyster Cult one I seen a gazillion times.
I went to Zeppelin laser light show, once, affected by intense colors. I made it about 1/2 way through the show before I had to go outside for air and OJ.

9. I don't think I've gone to the movies after midnight. |
|
Although I've caught a few at home after midnight. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and Donnie Darko are both more surreal and interesting in the small hours of the morning.
Speaking of which, I used to go out for late night/early morning strolls because of my insomnia, and one time I happened to come across a group of teenagers in very outlandish costumes. The tall brunette girl, I had assumed, moaned "Oh, Rocky" to me in a deep baritone as we passed. I was left very confused until I saw the movie some time later.

We used to put that movie in the VCR and play cards all night when I was in college.
