Remember the VT professor who saved his students?
Liviu Librescu? The morning after I saw the story on him, I went on the VT website and sent an e-mail to him, saying something like, "You, sir, are a true hero.

Today, I checked my e-mail to find a response from his wife.

That was so nice of her, bless her heart.

...Dear Friends,
Thank you for your words of appreciations and for your encouragements.
Anything in this world will not be able to slow down my pain of losing a so
good husband, a so great friend.
I am wishing you all the very best, Marilena Librescu...

1. He was quite a man
He earned my undying respect with his final actions. Few of us have that kind of steel inside.

5. I bet there were a lot of emails sent to him at the website. How
kind of his wife to respond. I'm sure your email, and the others, brought her some measure of comfort.

6. That was very kind of her to respond.
I did a short reply letting her know. Not sure if she will get it, but, if she does, she knows her response was appreciated.
