I'm acting in a play that opened tonight!!!

2. I'm Shirley the bartender.

The director/writer removed some characters and added others. Made it Hispanic since it's at a Hispanic theater and has some Spanish in it.

I made it trilingual. I cussed in Italian!!! :evilgrin:

5. It was great fun. I was the resident smart aleck.

I had my hair red and frizzed up, wore lots of makeup and jewelry, chewed gum, read the Enquirer. It was FUN!!!

6. I love acting! Haven't had an opportunity to do so in a long time.

It's so much fun to step out of yourself on occasion (or, to bring out a part of yourself you don't usually show others).

7. Ahh, there's nothing better than opening night

After that it gets repetitive. Unless you didn't know your lines very well opening night and improvised. Then you tend to improvise differently every time.

We got thru Sat. night OK.

We do this all over again next weekend, Fri, Sat. Sun.
