How to know you are addicted to DU
You turn on MSM mews to find a report breaking about some disaster or other totally unforseen event that just happened or is actually happening as you watch ...

and think "this is so old news...don't they know people have been talking about this for weeks?"

2. I actually pronounced it "moran" in conversation a few months ago.
Luckily I was only talking to my sweetie, who already knows
that I'm an idiot...but that could have been embarrassing!

3. I did something like that.. except worse/
While transcribing tapes at work, one of the words that kept coming up was "Moron." I wasn't really paying attention... and for the first 6 or 7 times it was spoken, I had spelled it the "DU way." Oops.

4. Decades from now, "moran" will be a word of its own...
And no one will believe us when we talk about how we
were "there" when it all got started.

9.  ...AND you have way too much time on your hands LOL
I've been here since 2001 and I've only got 4600 + posts. It's because I am a discriminating poster. HA, HA, HA

(BTW, I am honored to have one of your posts in a thread I started. :) )

6. Happens all the time to me. My liberal friends send me emails - "ohmygosh, did you know this?!"

and I think, "Yes, I knew that two days ago (or two weeks)." I don't actually say that to them, though.

7. Addicted to both DU and Air America Radio. And yeah, I so often
know something weeks before the MSM gives it any coverage at all. I guess if I'm going to be addicted to something, DU and AAR are good addictions to have!
