2. Like the song says:
Oh, give me a home,
Where no liberals roam
And the folks all think the same way.
Where each house has a gun,
A big caliber one,
And strangers are told "Make my day!"

Home, home on the Range
Where the beer and the cantaloupe lay,
Where seldom is heard
A three-syllable word
Or if so, then it's one I can say.

3. We do, too!
Edited on Sat Jun-16-07 08:18 AM by Heidi
Where I grew up in the US, we ate a lot of cantaloupe in the summers, but only for breakfast or dessert. I'd never had cantaloupe, or any sort of melon, as part of a main course with meat until I came here. One easy, cool and refreshing thing we have for dinner here in the summer is sliced melon (preferably cantaloupe because I _love it_, but honeydew is also good), thin slices of dry-cured ham like Parma and a nice green salad. YUM! :hi:

4. I once read up on disgusting things one could do with a cantaloupe...
I decided it was better just to make breakfast out of it.
