Tonight I'm meeting the new guy's teenage kids. Ack!
I feel like I'm going for a job interview. :scared: Fortunately there will be a lot of other teenagers around cuz it's a party, so the focus will be on me for three minutes, tops. Still, I'm thinking about how to present myself.

Who'd have thought I'd ever be in this situation? Not me.

7. Oh, that's interesting... a different perspective.
I have working in my favor the fact that his girls are extremely eager to see him with somebody. On the other hand... it's me. :P

5. My dear crim son!
You're not going for a job interview, sweetie!

It's just another date....

Still, I hear you.......

Relax, if possible, and be yourself...

You'll be fine!

Remember, he loves you....

And isn't that grand?

10. Yeah, it's grand!
And completely different from anything I've experienced before. I'll try to relax... try. I tend to speak too fast and laugh even more than usual when I'm nervous - there's potential for disaster. Hi Peggy!

It's a mixed boy/girl party, so I'll "hang" with the boys just to be cool.

:hi: My teenage niece and preteen nephew (on my husband's side) only have about a two-minute attention span when meeting people, so you'll be just fine! :)

20. LMAO! I'm totally not wearing Mom jeans
and the top I have on, my sixteen-year-old daughter wants to borrow it on Monday, which means it's acceptable. "Mom Jeans" I remember when my own mother finally saw the light and threw hers away!
